I worked with tweens in the public school system. Working in crisis intervention, I became exhausted by the lack of proactive effort regarding confidence, emotional needs, and coping skills. So I left and started Sage Path. Along the way, it evolved into a passion of growth and confidence for all women.

Sacral Awakening came from my own need for reconnection with my passion, sensuality, and feminine playfulness that I had lost along my journey.

Growing up in the conservative South, I was seldom encouraged to explore individuality or identity. I had been conditioned to serve. To be meek, mild, and "nice."
In my 20s, I struggled to figure out how to grow up. I moved Rochester, had two kids, got engaged, and got married all by 27. Through all of this excitement, I still hadn't found who I was. I knew how I served others. But realized I didn't know myself intimately.
When Covid came, I was 30. I had been in therapy for a few years and had begun the journey to self-discovery. The world became still. I decided enough was enough. I didn't want to feel like this anymore.
I started being myself and sharing my weird. It took a while for those close to me to adjust, but once they did; it was game on.
I returned to work in a school of tweens and found myself disheartened by the lack of consistent education regarding confidence building, communication, and emotional understanding. I left and start Sage Path.
I realized all of the shadow work, energy work, and confidence building I had done could benefit other women who have lost themselves. And thus, Sage Path started offering women's classes. And now I am obsessed and expanding!
